RD Part 3 Endgame Battle: Worthy opponent

That is a lot of dudes. 84 all up, not counting reinforcements.

Micaiah is the Lord, of course, so no Authority. Again.

Skrimir and Tibarn are properly leading their respective green units.

Which is good news for the Phoenicians, because Tibarn has 4 stars of authority!

Tibarn's Skills. Tear is, of course, the Hawk Mastery, which runs on a Speed/2% chance and will halve enemy Speed on the off chance it fails to kill. The more interesting skill is Pavise (Skill% chance to take 0 damage). In PoR, Tibarn had a skill called "Cancel" that had the same effect- in Japan, this skill is known as "翼の守護" (Wing's Protection). The FE10 version of the skill is called "大盾", or "Big Shield". Yes, this is exactly the same skill that exists in Jugdral and Magvel with the same effect, down to the name. This is actually the first time the skill got called Pavise in the west. As a matter of fact, when it got nerfed to half damage for Awakening onwards, that Pavise is still the same "大盾".

As one final punchline to the Guard/Cancel/Pavise messup that's been thrown around between PoR and RD,  "守護" is the name of RD's Guard skill.

That Purge tome is probably going away if you get too close. Parity will also get her out of dealing with Supports.

Oh hey, Pelleas is here, and here are his stats. Nothing special, but he usually omnicaps and can do some actual damage once he's playable. Suffice it to say Pelleas is not on the map if he's dead.

In contrast to 3-7, the boys who weren't given weapons don't have them. In Normal mode, I believe there are also some unpromoted folks scattered amongst the group. Daein is just throwing everything they have at us and hoping for the best.

Oh, hello, Nailah. She'll transform on Turn 1, at which point she becomes a very big problem. She also tends to move in my experience, although I still am not 100% clear on the triggers. Nailah is a gigantic pain in the you know where.

Yeah, we're not keeping that last Sleep staff cast. Resolve is also going to get scary if we don't treat it right.

Celerity. At least her opening position means this isn't a big problem in terms of area denial, but once she's moving, we need to unleash our plan to stop her immediately.

Do not let near Lethe and Lyre. This is also an outdoor map, so she also has pretty high movement, too.

Now why did I give her Wrath and not Adept? She's not taking enough damage for Wrath any more. I was half tempted to give her Nihil, but I think that would've just made her appearance here terrifying.

Here's Aran, pretending to be a frontline soldier.

His neighbour has Blizzard. No backup tomes, so no real chance of pinching them.

Don't think we're not getting Sleeped if you somehow disarmed Laura of hers. You'd think I'd bring a Restore, but no. At least I don't actually have one yet. Maybe in the Shop...

Oh yeah, can't forget the Dragon Prince Kurthnaga we're all so scared of.

...Those stats aren't so bad. Although, wait a second...

...Kurthnaga you sneaky little-

His appearance as a Pilgrim also kinda tried to pass him off as a beorc, which is the number one argument for that race section just not being there. Branded also aren't reflected on this screen, although perhaps that might pose its own spoiler-y issues of its own.

In gameplay matters, that A Rank Strike is to be expected, but hurts Kurthnaga's threat factor. Kurthnaga's Black Breath is currently rated at 12 Might and 95 Hit, and all Dragon Breaths increase in Hit by +10 in addition to the +5 Might in a Strike rank.

All dragons also have a "Tide" skill, which gives +5 to two of an adjacent unit's stats. Night Tide gives +5 Def/Res.

Oh hey, two Authority stars in the bargain. Kurthnaga has some amount of authority in him!

These three are technically in the party but not deployable. You can totally go back to base and manipulate their stuff! I remove Elincia's Mercy skill, but I don't sell it yet. I probably will wind up doing it, but I have ideas.

Starting our battle, the music is, of course, Eternal Bond. Underneath the theme is a dull heartbeat in time with a glowing, pulsating number in the corner... that doesn't show up in most of these images. The number is equal to the number of people on all sides (red, green, and even blue) that have died in this battle.

Grabbed this before I forget. It works. I think.

Lyre goes for the Olivi Grass strat. Honestly, we're approaching Laguz Stone time, but I have the time to charge.

Ranulf and Ike will be hanging out down here.

I got this while setting up. This works pretty well as a pair, all things considered.

Skrimir doesn't have Formshift, so this is taking away some of his TP. He's not a cat, though, so he can take plenty of this.

Lyre charging her gauge normally means she gets some untransformed rounds of combat in. Good for EXP, not so good for her survivability. She does only take one, though, and she's a far cry from her 3-4 self.

Sigrun, on the other hand, doesn't double these guys because she's just that bad.

I have hopes for this girl. Sadly, not high hopes.

In this chapter, the cats are honestly better off than the tigers, but both have some glassy issues. At least there's multiples, so they can tag in and out as the one in front takes lots of damage.

Attacking Skrimir is just a bad idea.

The hawks have some tricky engagements, but they're doing pretty OK.

Nailah transforms. She has Formshift, so there she'll stay.

Kurthnaga also transforms. He doesn't have Formshift, but the dragon tribes lose TP at the slowest speed of all the laguz, so he's going to maintain his shape for the foreseeable future.

Tibarn gets Tear. Of course he does.

Oi, my kill! Back on your side!

This tiger doesn't get to kill this guy, though.

Lyre moves up, and Mist heals her. The highlighted range of interest is on the thunder sages.

Tanith flies over here to get a kill and... hey, wait a second, do I have this guy surrounded by pegasi?

The Triangle Attack is back to being established for free, rather than hidden behind a Base Conversation. Oscar, Boyd and Rolf have theirs (Boyd needs to be using a Crossbow and Oscar just needs to get to Silver Knight) and it functions identically, while the pegasus knights can do it with any three of the four of Sigrun, Tanith, Marcia and Elincia. We had this in 3-11 (and it's a pretty good chance to do that casually, too!) but I didn't get a good chance for it. On this open map? It'll be a little easier. And besides... free crit...

Well, that cryptic remark gets answered later, level ups now.

Astrid sets Mist up with Florete to set up for the thunder sages.

She also spots this kill she can take.

When ten people have died, Ranulf has this remark to say. Probably for the best he's literally sitting this one out.

At least that hawk helped Sigrun get a free kill.

Double skill proc! Shame about Disarming after killing him, but it's just a Silver Lance.

Marcia gets a meaningful Triangle attack off.

Calill takes all the WEXP she can get. Also the normal kind, too.

Heather needs to be much closer to the enemies to steal from them, and there's also a hidden treasure to acquire if the need occurs.

The line Lethe is standing on does not enter the sage's line of fire. But I was wondering if one of those swordmasters would be tempted. I think she's actually a little far for that.

Nephenee picks up the kill, mostly as cleanup. She gets a few of these to make her BEXP level cost less, not so much for the actual value of the EXP. Besides, I do have to get these guys killed at some point.

Nephenee heard "I only get two or three kills this map, better make the most of them".

Ilyana, of course, can still get plenty of Heal EXP.

And Titania just chooses a place to stand. Adjacent to Mist for +5 crit is as good as any.

"...Have you seen how far away we are from the enemies?"

Now that Lyre's basically done getting TP, indirect units attack her. Because why make my life easier?

Speaking of indirects and laguz, Skrimir gets a lot of Storm Swords.

Those crits came in handy after all!

At 15 kills, Sanaki gets a little antsy about how things are going.

And one of her guards scolds her for attempting to walk into the battlefield.

Although Sanaki has recognised this particular individual, the player has not.

Sigrun knows about this guy? Wow, this has implications.

Wow, a lot of characters in Tellius have this same compunction. Someone on the writing team has opinions about this situation.

Piggy back ride! Piggy back ride!

Hey, cut him some slack!

...Beorc logic?

Cloud of feathers?

Well, that came completely out of left field. There is (somehow) a reasonable explanation for this. I think that makes it so that every country in Tellius is now represented in this battlefield. Crimea's the hardest one, but Titania and Meg are at least repping them.

Sanaki:
私に仕えると言いだしたのは
そなたのほうじゃ!
できぬのなら、クビじゃ!
[???]
あー…わかった。
わかりましたよ。
では、背中にどうぞご主人様?
Sanaki:
うむ。
最初からそうすればよいのじゃ。
Naesala:
やれやれ…
まいったね。

Sanaki instead threatens to fire Naesala, which gets him compliant awfully quickly. Sanaki wonders why he didn't just go along with her in the first place.

Mist doing decently on this screen, although I think she still hasn't got any Strength since promotion.

Lyre still kicks tail. Or doesn't, as the case may be.

And the thing about archers is that you can set them at the edge of a mage's range and get a two range kill reliably.

So long, Phoenicis soldier. You will not be the last.

...Wait, you mean I was in range of Fiona this whole time!? Thank Ashera she didn't trigger Sol, at least!

And Skrimir gets a kill when his turn comes. Tibarn, too, gets one- a crit- but I mistimed the shot.

20 kills earns you this unsettling image. Reyson, you can go check this, right? Reyson?

A cat charges up this way.

Well, this man is very dead.

If we're telling your general that your front line is collapsing, they have bigger problems, but I promise I'll do my best.

(Despite not dying based on permadeath, the Dawn Brigade units count as deaths on the death counter.)

These guys are going to be killed by the Gallians. They're just here for the death counter.

Not going to make the same mistake as last turn. Pictured is Meg's attacking range.

Also pictured is the death counter, now at 24 kills.

Well, got to start untying this knot somewhere. Astrid wants to keep using her bow for those archers especially, and we do want to do the "bait at range" trick for Meg- that Brave Sword is terrifying.

Four stats, well on her way to omnimastery.

Oh hey, SS Bow rank.

Sigrun can double these guys, at least.

And that will help her continue to double. I was hoping for a Disarm to steal his Short Spear, but this level more than makes up for it.

Kurthnaga is infested with Chaos for the first time properly at 25 kills. I don't think it agrees with him.

Heather decides to take out this guy, in the absence of some kleptomania.

This is actually Lethe's first action this battle.

That is one hell of a Blossom level-up, this Lethe shouldn't be underestimated. That's also her first cap (Defence).

Lyre gets the kill on Fiona. So I said something about not letting this woman anywhere near the cats?

That's a level up on Lyre, and Lyre's no slouch on the level up screen even without Blossom.

Considering the dark god is the manifestation of Chaos, and Chaos governs the nature of the battlefield itself, not the worst guess in the world.

Oh, by the way, that level up was Lyre's Skill cap. She still needs three points in any stat (well, specifically, three points for HP/Mag/Res, four points for Str/Def and eight for Luck) to get her next cap, but honestly, she's got good chances of getting her caps.

Calill's been going for Fire this time. I imagine this indecision is partially why I don't have her with a new weapon rank yet.

Pictured: Flare not OHKOing a guy.

Calill's working on her core stats.

Yeah, a Physic for this much, especially when it's someone with Sol, is a little overkill, but she is baiting Meg over.

Ilyana's level ups are slowly but surely getting her to Mia's position.

If Marcia wanted, she could totally fly up here and kill that Horseslayer guy. I think that's giving her a bit too much EXP, though.

Tanith loans her the Storm Sword. She's on Meg baiting duty.

And Titania fills out the third slot. Don't want those archers getting in trouble.

And Mist heals up Sigrun.

First thing's first: I'm not killing all the enemies that appear.

You always get these levels that you can just tell, at a glance, are really awesome.

Oh dear. Maybe she ought to have brought the Silencer...

These guys look like they're cleaning up. Phoenicians actually do a cool flip on the map when they attack twice in a row (ie when an enemy attacks them and they double.)

And Astrid gets some melee engagement. Occupational hazard of using a bow.

This one cat is way out of position and kicked all the ass.

Sure, he transformed, but that was after the danger passed.

Another Tear. Tibarn really does not like these guys.

At 30 kills, someone calls Micaiah's name.

Not an answer to Sothe's question. Then again, I doubt she noticed it.

Micaiah and Sothe wander off. At least we don't lose that Purge!

The heroic cat hides behind ally lines. Pity we already have Lethe and Lyre, I'd be tempted to recruit him.

This tiger is the one brave enough to continue where his brother left off.

And these paladins are for us!

Oh hey, Ena showed up.

Unfortunately, Ena has pulled the same trick that she did in PoR, and her first appearance is not the one that will be playable. I'll show off her stats when we know for sure what we're dealing with. But here's what she looks like now- not that she'll get into any combat.

I'm fairly sure the playable Ena starts on A Strike, that's just rude!

This is based on her appearance in PoR, but man it's just huge in RD. Boon can only be applied to dragons still (and if removed, has the same problem as Blessing of being called "Earth's Bounty" in the American version), and Blood Tide is a boost to Str/Skill for adjacent units.

Independent this map, so she's not using Skrimir or Tibarn's authority. Again, not that she'll be in any fights.

If you pull up the help text and point to the class, you'll usually get a boring description of the class itself. However, Ena is hiding a lore nugget in hers that can be found nowhere else! Ena is of mixed dragon tribe heritage- which explains how the white Nasir can grandfather the "red" Ena, and also partially explains why she's pink. There's only one other example of two laguz of different races having children, and that actually functions differently. Honestly, no surprises, how many examples of two laguz of any race having children did you expect to see?

Meg, owing to the lack of targets, has declined to move. Which also means she's still got her Brave Sword up. No matter, there is a solution.

Sigrun moves up, stopping to make this guy drop his Spear. I could've sworn the shot I grabbed showed the Disarm animation. Trust me, I did it.

I have the Spear to show for it.

Tanith takes a shot and moves up.

Leaving Marcia to handle Meg. A crit or a Stun will one-round her-

Fun fact: The Triangle Attack negates Fortune. This doesn't come up often, but in the rare case it does, you'll be glad it's there.

Oh. Oh yeah. Wrath.

I count myself lucky that I took one non-crit hit and finish the round of combat.

The range highlighted behind Meg is Jill's range. Celerity is making that bigger than normal, but it's not that much more oppressive.

Calill is getting ahead as fast as she can.

Astrid can double swordmasters. Of course she can.

...Hoping for a Sol, I suppose.

Just denting the armour.

Lethe finishes this guy to open some space.

And Nephenee is left to clean up my mess again.

Ilyana heals, of course.

Mia is going to stand here and make sure the Phoenicians's run-offs don't interfere with my back line.

Lyre gets a kill and a position on the front line. With the Power of Provoke on.

Oh yeah, Sleep staff range. Time to start worrying about that.

Rangers always pick the strangest priorities.

The poor tiger, this cat is stealing his glory. Sadly, history rarely repeats when you want it to...

Wrong kind of horse. Although I don't think anyone you can deal super-effective damage on is in range.

Well, that's a kill for Sigrun.

Sigrun please.

...Guys, Lyre is right there, if you could be so kind as to-

...Better. Not great, but better.

Oh, you go for Lyre. I don't think this guy is worth EXP on people who aren't transformed laguz. Honestly, I have my doubts he'd even be worth EXP to untransformed Lyre.

Fun fact, base Lyre is incapable of one-rounding base Nolan even without Tarvos.

We have 13 girls to your... 67 plus reinforcements.

At least Nolan could deal damage!

Yeah, you weren't getting Sigrun.

Thanks for the help, though.

None of the enemies seem to want to take the tiger.

And still Sigrun is seeing combat.

...You are somewhat forgiven for the first two level ups this enemy phase. Sigrun's Defence growth is actually one of the worst growths in anything important in this game. Most characters with a 10%, 5%, or even 0% have it in their non-dominant attacking stat, and there's a few 10%s in the Resistance column (although Resistance is important much later), but apart from Sigrun's Defence, you mostly see 10%s with Tibarn's Skill, Rafiel/Leanne's Skill/Def, and Gareth's Speed. We'll talk more about Gareth once he shows up in RD (yes, he was in PoR, that's the only reason I mention him now), but I think anyone who's seen enough Fire Emblem to make it this far knows Gareth is not having a good review.

Speaking of Tibarn and Skill, here he is triggering a Skill. Although Tear is a Speed/2% chance, never mind.

Reinforcements for the Phoenicians! Tibarn can handle them no problem, not sure about the rest of these guys.

Titania Waits where she's standing and stumbles across a Rescue staff she missed last turn. With Heather busy looting, I decided to use someone with a high Biorhythm (good for +20% finding chance on top of your Skill), and Titania and Mia both fill that criterion. Mia isn't actually looking for the Rescue, though- you can only get it on Titania's square.

If Lyre doesn't get kills on enemy phase, she gets them on player phase! Her TP is obviously not going to be fun right now.

There's the Disarm flash that worked.

Sigrun, incidentally, is going to hide out of Jill's range... and also the range of those Silver Bow archers.

I have no idea why I think I need more axes, but a Short Axe is a good reason to make an exception.

Calill continues to pick off weak enemies as she lags behind the march.

...Calill, please, you have stiff competition.

Marcia gave the Storm Sword back after that last turn, but I think Marcia needs it again.

At least Tanith is doing fine on the level up screen.

Marcia, you drew the short straw.

I need you to get rid of the Sleep Staff bishop.

Hooray!

Mist dips in to switch Marcia's sword over and take a gamble on Sol.

You need actual Strength.

Mist moves forward, mostly to make the positions of those archers more precarious.

Mist is also lucky to stay out of Nailah's range. How to deal with her comes later.

Astrid finishes, and presents herself as a target for Jill.

Nephenee is going to remain here and kill this guy when necessary.

Lethe reverts. In hindsight, I'm not entirely sure what the plan was.

Maybe I just wanted to see her stat page? I'll be honest, Lyre is probably the better unit, even if that extra Str/Def is nice.

Oh for crying out loud Laura-

These guys take Marcia's Storm Sword too.

For some reason, this level up feels more forgivable on Marcia than it does Sigrun.

This guy got exactly killed, though.

And it goes without saying this guy got ORKOed. Leo actually has a hit chance on my unit, go Leo!

This position gets exciting if Leo is trained, but usually he won't be a Marksman yet.

Jill went for Astrid.

This could've gone a lot worse. And honestly, Jill was perfectly safe from Astrid in return. Way too much HP, Spd and Def for Astrid's Sol to ORKO even in worst case scenario.

Astrid, you are aware you don't have Parablossom anymore, right? That's her Luck capped, and everything else is so close, there's a non-zero chance I could omnicap at level 10! If she gets BEXP (and gets primarily Speed), she's all but guaranteed to omnicap at 11, but that would honestly be a waste of BEXP at that point! She's already reached the point that worst-case scenario, she omnicaps at level 18.

Oh yeah, these guys existed.

The Phoenicians are not having a good time of it down here. I think that's another death.

Tibarn just doesn't stop Tearing.

The beasts have made it to these armour knights. Mostly. The cats don't like this situation.

And most of them don't even make it. The one that attacked the knights is also reverted.

More Paladins for us.

And Lyre is reverted. Right.

Now then, here's Nailah's range again. There's very little we can do without entering it. Usually, though, Nailah is fine with entering her range, it's when I start either a) getting in her face or b) hitting Volug that she starts moving. I plan to have something up my sleeve by then.

I also have Jill standing in my face. You'd think I'd be more concerned about that.

I had an ace up my sleeve.

Time to expose Jill to our secret weapon- her girlfriend.

It's caught her quite off-guard.

Mist has the greatest logic.

Jill tries to remind Mist of the basics.

Mist has a plan for that.

...Mist's master plan, right here.

Jill points out that Mist makes a terrible mercenary if we're even at this point.

Mist refuses to raise Florete to her friend, though.

...

Mist... Mist, you're just...

Jill is done serving Daein.

She knows where she belongs. Where she's belonged since 3-7, when I actively turned down this opportunity because you imagine 3-12 and 3-13 without Jill.

Jill is now a Greil Mercenary again.

It might suck for Daein, but Jill had her moment of resolve in PoR, and continuing to stand aboard the sinking ship that is Daein would be turning her back on those.

There are very few downsides to recruiting Jill here. The biggest one is that her death isn't going to increment the death counter. I think we can make do. (On Normal Mode, not incrementing the death counter is a positive.)

Mist also heals up that scratch she took from Astrid.

Heather pops in and kills this sniper quickly.

To, er... profit?

Jill's going over here now. The defeat of the sniper allowed her to cross basically all the tiles she moved to get to us in the first place- now that she's a blue unit, red units block her path.

I'm sure that's helping you.

Jill, too, is in a pretty happy spot cap-wise for a single-digit level unit.

Calill is getting staff EXP!

...It's still staff EXP, though.

And Ilyana heals her up.

Up we go into this knot of units...

Astrid takes a go at Kurthnaga.

Kurthnaga is having second thoughts about this whole "battlefield" thing.

Size comparison on Astrid and Kurth. Obviously, perspective is making things a little shady, but he definitely looked a lot bigger in the cutscene and CG.

Marcia gets the kill, and a less perspective-skewed angle.

No, Kurthnaga did not hit either target. Poor kid.

Sigrun continues to count on her allies to help her get kills.

...Well, maybe BEXP will save her.

Lyre chews some Olivi Grass and prepares for untransformed combat.

And Titania picks up a kill from the Phoenicians. They looked like they could use the help.

Cute, but no dice.

So, this cat. Obviously he's about to die, right?

What the hell was in the cat tribe's wheaties this morning, and did my cats have access to it?

Sigrun attracts Volug's attention, and at this point I remember point b) about Nailah's movement decisions and start getting concerned.

Lyre gets some combat in and...

Literally everything except Luck. This is an awesome level. There's no way in hell I'm going to keep this.

This cut it close...

There goes another hawk.

Jill deals with her former wyvern detachment. Unlike Haar in PoR 23, there's no real explanation for why these guys don't get to defect with her.

Another awesome level up? Yeah, Nailah is about to kick my ass and force me to reset and come up with a new plan...

Oh hey, Ilyana gets some staff combat in.

...Ilyana, was this necessary? It was hilarious, though.

I have never felt more relieved to see the words "Other Phase" and hear that distinctive jingle. I did not deserve to keep that enemy phase.

Skrimir uses another Laguz Stone charge. Ah well.

The hawks don't actually reach that Paladin that ran away after killing the Phoenician.

More cats deal with these guys. The insane dodger gets to transform owing to surviving two rounds of combat where he didn't deal damage.

Now then. Our turn.

Lyre has pushed her luck far enough.

And Ilyana heals her up, just for good measure.

...This plan can't work out for me, can it?

Yeah, Nailah isn't threatened at all by this situation.

I really needed this!

Jill flies up, and reports her defection to her superior.

He got the news pretty quickly. One thing about the 3-13 conversations Zihark and Jill can have is that they kinda have to be prepared for a 3-7 defection and a 3-E defection. I think most of them lean 3-7.

Tauroneo assures Jill she made the right decisions.

Tauroneo, though, he's dedicated to his country. Turning his back on Ashnard was enough betrayal for one foolish old man's lifetime.

Jill actually won't attack Tauroneo. But I'm not here for Tauroneo.

This. Cannot. Work.

(Incidentally, since I got nerd-sniped so hard by it while discussing the chapter's progression, Jill's round of combat is assuming no Laura Support despite Laura being two spaces away. The question of whether Supports work if the characters are blue and red is an open one, and unfortunately, I didn't recall whether I got the Jill/Laura flash before this round of combat.)

Jill, after about five turns of being not very far from Nailah, finally notices that Nailah switched sides.

...You don't have wyvern riders in Hatary?

Let's give Nailah a fight to remember!

A Nailah kill. Not my first, I'm informed, but definitely one I'm glad happened in the blog.

Yes, you killed Nailah, you can have whatever in your level.

Don't worry, Nailah, you had exactly the right reputation.

It'll take more than that to take her down.

...Although now's not a good time to push her luck.

There's another trick I can do in this battle over the next few actions, and we'll start by finishing up Volug.

...This is really what I'm working with.

Volug has two death quotes listed with the translations I found, and by judging the size of the words he is saying, I'm fairly sure he's using this one today:

[I have nothing left... I must pass...]

Calill has a boss quote with Tauroneo that I was actually planning on acquiring, but I moved Jill into one of the spaces she needed to stand to get it and we missed it. Although that might've been for the best, this update of just the combat is stretching the image capacity of a single update to its limit.

Some more non-lethal Flare action.

A second Triangle Attack in one turn! Canto is the best.

This, not so much.

And a third Triangle Attack. I love this manoeuvre. It's a gigantic symbol of pride in my pegasi and a massive rejection of the "Triangle Attacks are impractical" opinion.

I'd say this is better than Marcia, but all she got extra was Magic.

Heather goes for this guy, for some reason.

Adept is a good reason.

Mia picks up a kill.

Titania, too.

And lastly Mist, although that's to be expected.

...Fine enough.

And, before we move on too far, one quick diversion to show off another important conversation for goodies we missed:

Soren: The new king of Daein, Pelleas. How convenient. I can end this farce right now. Surrender or die.
Pelleas: Who are you? That mark on your forehead… Is it a mark of Spirit Protection?
Soren: No. It’s something rather different.
Pelleas: But that shape… It looks so much like mine!
Soren: Is that so? You might still more powerful than you let on. Still, I doubt this changes anything. Prepare yourself, Pelleas.
Pelleas: But wait! There’s so much I want to ask you!

Pelleas is starting to realise just what kind of marks are surrounding him. Sadly, it doesn't seem like he'll be getting the full interview.

At 80 kills, Mist faints from Chaos exhaustion (funny that she was the one to get the 80th kill here), and the battle is declared over. The "Rout" condition listed is a lie, and your ticket out of dealing with Nailah. If you've got raised Dawn Brigadiers out on the front lines like Meg and Fiona, though, you have less luck.

Incidentally, because Normal Mode ratchets up the body count, I'd honestly say Normal 3-E is easier than Easy 3-E, purely because Nailah is a non-issue.

So let's worry about Mist some.

...Oh.

We... we better go check that out.

Mist! Mist! MIIIIIIIST!

Also, fun fact, Boyd will replace Titania if Mist/Boyd is at A Support. One of the little things.

Let's get to that medallion, though.
